Getting acquainted:

The Dutch owners are two lucky people who met in 1999 and have started a new life in France since 2002.

During a holiday we found Au-Terrie, where there were lots of things to do on the big complex of 4 hectares of land.

In this cozy house you will feel really on holiday.

The house has large bedrooms and offers enough space for 2 to 10 people and 2 babies. There is central heating as well and you can use the wood burning stove. Satellite T. V. with English, French and Dutch channels make the whole complete.

Nearer acquaintance Au-Terrie:

This luxery house with private swimming pool lies in the middle of vineyards and agricultural land. From the swimming pool 6x12 meters you will have a marvelous view over the sloping hills. Round about the pool there is a terrace with a large field. The swimmingpool is secured by two alarmsystems.
The furnishing of the house is characteristic. In the living (5*5m) there is a decorative chimney. On the first floor, a stone staircase leads to it, you will find two bedrooms. One bedroom (5*5m) with a twin (200*180) and a single bed (200*90) and one bedroom (5*5m) with two single beds (200*90). On this floor you also find a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. On the corridor (2.30*2.80m) there is also a dubbelbed (200*140).

Behind the American kitchen there is another bedroom (6*5m) with three single beds (200*90) and a bathroom with shower and toilet.
There are max. 10 sleeps available and a two baby cots. We certainly recommend you the house, it offers plenty of rest, privacy and comfort.

The owners are living on the property, the host is prepared to serve a dinner for a small price on your demand.

From the house there are lots of activities to do like a nice walk, a bicycle tour, etc.

Further away the centuries old village Duras (7km) with its castle from the 12e century, open to visitors all year.
13 km away the town Ste. Foy la Grande with its weekly market on Saturday.

Canoeing on the Dordogne.
Making a boot trip on the Dordogne and visiting museums.
Marmande (30km) the Channel Du Midi where you can go for a bike tour and relax nearby the different sluices.
At a distance of 30km the famous town Bergerac with its centuries old center and at walking distance the very modern shopping center.

Green hills with forests and meadows, fruit trees and vineyards and fields with sunflowers. The Garonne, the Dordogne and the channel Du Midi are winding through.
Together with many centuries old villages and bastides it offers a various and fascinating environment.
The landscape is especially green and sloping.
The climate in summer is splendid. A lot of sun and a lovely temperature.
In low season and later part of the summer the temperature stays comfortable.

Villeneuve de Duras lies at a distance of 30 km from Bergerac-Airport and 100 km from Bordeaux.

General Conditions:

After receiving your reservation we will let you know if the accommodation is still available and if it is free than we will confirm the reservation.

We ask you to pay a deposit of 50 % of the rental price within 2 weeks after reservation.
The booking is definite after receiving the amount.

Two weeks before the beginning of the rental you will have to pay the balance and the returnable damage deposit.

If the holiday can't take place we can not return the rental price. So we advice you to take an insurance against cancellation.

We are not responsible for any harm or damage during your stay and we recommend to take an insurance.
